Thierry Boissière est maître de conférences en anthropologie (Université Lumière Lyon 2), chercheur au laboratoire Environnement, Ville, Société (UMR 5600). Il a été responsable de l’Observatoire urbain de l’Institut français du Proche-Orient (Ifpo, UAR 3135).
